Half centuries by Yuvraj, Maharaj help India recover

There you go. That is the end of the first day's play. India have got to a strong position and who would have thought that after the first session when India lost their four batsmen for just 61 runs. But then Yuvraj joined Ganguly at the crease and the duo put together a partnership which not only ressurected the innings but also put India in the driver's seat. The 300 run partnership came at a very good rate as well and that has added to the benefits of India. Ganguly is still going strong and India will look to keep up the good work tomorrow as well.
