Well the HP in india is facing an identity crisis of sorts. Its have over 7 divisions in India - each one a different company, it has 60000 developers based in India, but remains a PC-Printer company. Fresh graduated from top colleges dont see a value in HP brand hence HR finds it hard to recruit ad retain the talent.
Worse thing of all the divisions in India there seem to be a considerable overlap of efforts (Marketing/HR/Internal systems) while all of them remain ignorant of each other's existance.
It seems this remains the same story - while in Microsft India - or the one which rather famously Ratan TATA over came.
The fact is agencies like ourselves cant help this scene. This has to come from the internal structures. Its the HP management to sort out this management.
