16th December: The fall or Rise of Pakistan?

General Musharaff has decided to put off emergency on 16th December. The date seem to an irony as far as Pakistan is concerned.

Its the same day when in 1971 - largest surrender of regular troops happened (post WW2) in 1971. The present president of Pakistan was a leutinant back then who had to face the shame of being part of this defeat.

I will be surprized if the day ends without surprize....
