Over 38 infants die in a Kerala hospital because of a singular infection - Klebseilla bacteria. As per government agencies the major reason is overcrowding of Hospitals.
In other words its the fault of patients that they tried to get healthcare and hence had their new -borns killed.
They are right just because Heathcare is free - the deaths should not come as surprize and no one inside the Hospital should be responsible.
So where does the responsibility lies? I dont think it should be beyond the Health Minister. In case 38 Indian citizens loose their life cause of laxity on part of her department she should be tried for culpable homiside.
In case the hospital authorities are right about over streching thei resources - well then again its the Minister who should be tried for criminal negligence of her duties. She is under oath to full fill her obligations under constitution to provide 'right to life' for every citiezen of India.
Ok want to see the heads rolling. And its about time we have them.
