It seems that the irony that is India will continue to be so – for a long time. Narmada Bachao Andolan or NBA is fighting for people and people view it as anti-progress.

There has been a distinct Government propaganda emphasizing the benefits of the dam – if and when completed.

While the NBA fights to lower the Human costs of it – the political parties are all busy collecting brownie points.

The irony is –

Right to life is duty of state while NBA is fighting the state to secure it for the displaced people.

For likely than not NBA will loose this battle, they don’t understand the media warfare – eureka we again have breeding ground for armed struggle – they may be called naxals/terrorists/extremists/or just decoits who cares!!!

Had the cared none of them would have been there in the first place!
