There are those who question this young guys experience... well those with experience have no intention. To scale new hights, more than the expertise you need a passion and intention, both of which is distictly lacked by the vintage old leadership of India. we are a dynamic new country who are still coming in terms with our new found might.
We need people to assert this influence of ours. young guys who like Rajiv Gandhi can put reservation on the back burner, can start accelerate the development of Missile program and forsee dawn of IT age. Prime Ministers who do not sit back to watch Benazir assasinated and food riots in bangladesh, rather who are bold enough to intervene in Sri Lanka and Maldieves.
Yes IPKF was a mistake but we realised that only once we commited that, so did US in Vietnam and USSR in Afganistan. We all made mistakes, but it was the leadership of young that made us take a bold decision and we learned as a nation.
In Rahul Gandhi we have a young prince who is not living off his legacy rather connecting with the most underprivilaged part of societies. To him the needy and downtrodden are not just numbers in planning commission report but are real people.
It would be a loss to all of us if Rahul doesnt come to lead us. We need change and a leader. We the people of Orient will rather follow a mighty decision maker than live under a pacifier ordinary leadership.
