The Rise of Heaven

In my last job as a marketing guy for Hitachi GST is India I oversaw an unpresedented growth in our orders of Hard Disks from Sri Nagar. Eventually we had to scout and appoint two distributors in there. This was some six months back.

Just today in our discussion with Hyundai marketing managers they disclosed that they need support for their dealers in Srinagar. I pressed them a little more - and they came back saying that this perticular dealership is the fastest growing one and will have to be supported in every possible way.

Hey guys we are talking about Srinagar - the place of militants, extremists and terrorists. Or is this going to be a passe?

I know for a matter of fact that things like Computers and Santros are sold to middle class only, and their increased sale can only mean that middle class has become stronger, which in turn means that law abiding citizens are becoming stronger.

This is the start of fall of trror regime of both the govt and that of terrorists.

May the Heaven rise again...
