NWFP:History Repeats

General Mush is back to uniform - doing what men in Uniform do best - supress.
The operation silence has failed to achieve anything - Pakistan is yet to delare names of all casualties. The Pak Army is aterrified beast - badly hurt with facing its own ( a combo of Operation blue star and IPKF ).
But armed supression of the region has destroyed Armies in past - be it British, Sikh or Soviets. The Pathans have this indominable spirit that annot be subdued. None of the rulers in past have tried to establish a national identity in the region - for those before them have failed miserably.

The General is fighting on too many fronts - and is loosing allies like his posts. He would be lucky if he doesnt face a mutiny in the Northern Light Infantry in coming weeks.

My prediction is this -
1. A predominently Punjabi Army convoy will meet a disaster in the rugged mountails of North west territory
2. Army starts combing to find a target to retaliate
3. They end up in a village from where the attackers hailed
4. A massacare and carnage is carried out irrespective of age and sex ( like my - lai)
5. the news spreads - More army outposts are attacked.
6. another massacare takes place
7. Northern Light Infantry breaks chain of command
8. Afgans support mutiny
9. Iraninans seal the border
10. General allows draconian powers to his commanders
11. total media black out
12. PAF bombs out pockets of resistance
13. NLF units in Pakistani-kashmir revolt and lead a popular researgence agaianst pakistani army
14. Pakistani Civilwar starts where every one starts taking sides
15. The civil war takes on the port City of karachi, Lahore andhyderabad with Sindhi population calling for and of Punjabis
16. US warns India to be out of this game.
17. India obviosly sees an opportunity to take on Kashmir - but decides to wait as its entry into the war will cause the war to stop as all sides hate India more than each other
18. US special forces take on the Katuha nuclear plant and the Nuclear weopons with a tacit support from India
19. Civil war rags on for 3-6 months
20. It ends - either general wins at a humongous casualty or he is dead
21. In case general dies - extremists hold the entire nation to ransom
22. With its Nuclear weopons gone - regular army destroyed and Taleban kind of kins in power - India attacks to take sheen off the rest of pot boilers.
23. India casts out new nation states of Sindh, NFWP and kashmir is united to India
