Changing Warfares: Army become useless

It all started in WW II. The french resistance proved the most powerful armies of Nazi Germany were useless against the 'glory beyound death' squads of motivated men and women who never wore a uniform ar ever qualified for a medal but loved their country beyond and any humane reasoning.

In one of the many ironies of History, gods mocked at the French Legionaire in Vietnam using the same strategies with which Paris had declared liberty for all. Then came the Yankies to find themselves in midlle of a Vietkong quicksand.
As the mocking of history continued - many countries learned from the results of this 1975 epic fall of Saigon.

Americans trained Mujahideen in Afganistan and Indian embarked on helping up Bangladesh Mukti Vahini.

As the history has it the same strategies have inflicted the US armies in Iraq, NATO in Afganistan and closer home most of Indian Army is now reduced to police force of Kashmir and North East.

Yet no one seems to have learned from the debacle.
This is the urban warfare - Armies are useless. No amount of force can stop a person with no desire. The modern anti-establishment fighters are Astics of the violent kind. They believe in a cause and thats what is the end of world for them.
Governments world over have failed to see that its no longer the war to win land - its a war to win the most resourceful thing in all the universe we know : The Human Mind.

No longer can the Kashmiri speratist movement die before you win hearts, no longer can Iraq be made calmer before a media blitzkrieg replases the funding for bullets.
Its now a battle for human mind and Armies still dont have a propoganda unit to wage it - i pity the men in Uniform
