Netaji ::: missing in action:::

The Mukherjee Commission's findings on the disappearance of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose have been tabled in Parliament along with an action taken report.
The government however, has rejected the report, which says that the famous freedom fighter did not die in a plane crash in Taiwan in August 1945, as is widely believed.
The one-man panel says the ashes found in Japan were not that of Netaji.
It also suggests that the angle that the crash was a cover to help Netaji escape to Russia needs to be investigated.

The report was submitted to the government in November last year.
