Bombing of another of world's main financial districts.
But that is not new. To jog your memory,
here is the cronological order-
- World Trade Centre bombing (New York)
- Bombay Stock Exchange bombing
- Trouble at Manila finacial centre
- World Trade Centre attack 9/11
- London bombings
There is a definite trend to be observed. There was a time when wars were a profitable business. The victor had new lands, new revenues by way of taxes and above all the loot. Then times started changing, and today a war is the most loss-making enterprise that exists. Armies of the day have sole purpose of defending a nation's 'capital interests'. The fact that indian navy wants to 'lessen the burden on US 5th fleet' by patroling indian ocean has this reason in core.
Today nothing hits a nation more than a hit on its business.
Thats what got US of A so rattled. Thats what caused stock markets to collapse around the globe.
Terrorists have realised this.
And so we must expect more such attacks in coming years.
And react in a similar fashion as the subjects of the queen.
Bravely. For being brave is to fear yet face that fear with head held high!
Long live the Queen.
