happy bithday to india

on its 57th birthday independent india is having another trust with its destiny. Her new found say in international events is not 'all well'. Well ,being invited to G-7 and ASEAN summits are enough to suggest a change...being asked to head peace keeping ops in occupied Iraq is almost too much. Her economy is out-performing predictions, her naval might is on a ever high, her subjects are doing well in the 'information revoltion'(well as english in industrial revolution and US did in computers).Among others she has a president who is a performer-a scientist who believes in future-vision 2020.
There is absolutely no stopping to her. There is only one craving.A leader. Someone who is stern, practical, moral, above all - visionary.President Kalam may have fit the portfolio but he has made himself too much of a non -political man.
Contrary to what great Indian middle class believes we need a good politician . Atal Bihari vajpayee has failed to fit in the slot....he was almost always busy fighting for survival. His consenus was actually a miidle way.He always tried to please too many people.A non-leader act.In entire Orient its power that masses yeild to.What made Mao,Indiira Gandhi,Ho-chi-Minh great was their absolute power. We dont need a navigator but a captain! alas may somebody take note of this yearning.
