MERA BHARAT MAHAN

(My India is great)

These words were coined at the 40 th birth day of free India.15 Years hence no one around me seems to believe it.So heere are few reasons why India is great.
1) We are the only nation of world with 15 official languages,all major religions-over 15000 sects millions of creed over 20,000 castes yet uniqely indian.Between a Sikh from Punjab(u'll find them every where in world just goto any place of commerce) to a Brahmin from Tamil Nadu(for him check out Non resident Indian Researcher in your local university) there is nothing common--we all speak different languages,have different eating habits,even sense of humour varies..........i have triedbut failed to understand...i need not-this isthe first thing that makes inia great-UNITY IN DIVERSITY
2) Perhaps the only nation in world that lives in a evolving society that has evolved over 5,000 years(chinese lost in compition when mao gave them mutation of cultural revolution and one man's vision was enforced on entire land)
3)Wherenew Ideas are always accetable(i cant imagine galilio being tried in India at any point of time).This society hasalways encouraged debate.
4)we are such democracy where Army has never argued with a higher civilian authority- a realacheivement fora third world country plaged with corruption.
5)We were trained by british imperialists to be clerks-our education system produses clerks-but the success of Indian BPO'smean we have the best clerical work force in world.Bottom line-WE know how to succeed-limitations or not.
6)Indian diaspora is far &wide & successful.
7)Inspite of all difficulties we are still a nation which is on leave for around 200 days a yearand just loves celebration-isnt this is wat all humanity wants.
